I purchased these for the half bath in my house so I'm being up front that I cannot attest to the absorbency of coming out of the shower. However, I can say that they are soft like rabbit fur and feel really nice on your feet when sitting on the throne or at the sink washing for hands after. They are definitely non skid, which is nice. I must admit that I was a little worried when the mats arrived as they were rolled up together in cellophane wrap. But, they opened up nicely and have no creases! They are very thin but the fur makes up for it. I would purchase again. My pets love laying on them, too, if that counts for anything! I think they'd make nice pet bed, too.
